Our top bloggers and Makeup artists of 2016

This year we have taken inspiration from everyone and everywhere when it comes to our makeup inspirations and fashion trends. We have closely followed bloggers and makeup artists from across the globe to bring you the latest trends and products (which we love!) So, it would only be right to celebrate our favourite ladies, whilst rounding up our favourite looks that they have kindly shown us for the Christmas period.

An obvious choice but very justified, is, of course, the beautiful Tanya Burr, who pathed the way for many aspiring beauty bloggers alike. Tanya broke onto the scene in 2009, uploading her makeup tutorials and guiding people through recreating celebrity looks at home. With over 3 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, she is a leader in the business of vlogging. Having launched her own makeup range this year, she is moving up in the ranks of celebrity status. Our favourite look she created this season, was her party look, which can be recreated for a glamorous Christmas day or to take you into the new year in style!

Next up is Zoella, who also shot into the limelight in 2009. She is the pioneer of beauty and hair blogging, with the largest following in the business, coming in at a cool 11 million subscribers, with over 300 million views. Launching her own beauty range, online book and even securing a spot in the famous Band Aid 30, alongside some musical greats, Zoella is the ultimate blogger/celebrity on the scene, setting standards for the many bloggers who follow in her steps. We love Zoe’s how to on getting the best Corkscrew curls, the perfect bounce for a sparkly Christmas!

Pat McGrath (MBE) is a British makeup artist, who, if you haven’t heard of, you definitely should look up now! She has been named the most influential makeup artist in the world (yes, the world!) by Vogue magazine, as well as other respectable commentators. She has worked with the world’s most talented makeup artists, including Steven Meisel and Helmut Newton, as well as working with Prada, Dolce and Gabbana and Miu Miu, to name a few. Her makeup range is handmade, as well as innovative; bringing some of the best pigments onto the scene, it will leave you mesmerised with sparkle and shine. You can find the whole metallic range here. Below, you can see the sheer beauty of her products, perfect for the party season ahead.

Arshia Moorjani is a NYC based vlogger, who we regularly catch up with to get all the best tips. She fills up her channel with reviews on products (including the product that everyone has been talking about this year; the silisponge!) as well as some fabulous, refreshing homemade face masks; we all love a little DIY! This Indian beauty also provides some great healthy food ideas for when you are stuck for some culinary inspiration.  This brilliant winter lipstick video is great for any ladies out there with darker skin tones.

Finally, we have Tati, who’s Glamlifeguru channel is the perfect mix of comedy and beauty. Not only is it guaranteed to put a smile on your face, but she reviews some of the best products on the market to ensure you buy the best in the future. With a striking resemblance to Lorelai Gilmore, we already feel a sense of comfort and familiarity with her. With Tati’s honesty, it’s a refreshing channel to follow and one that is updated very regularly to keep you coming back for more! Here are some great tips and hacks from the fabulous Tati.

With all these inspirational ladies giving us the best tips for the most jaw dropping party look, you are guaranteed to impress. We wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New year!
