It’s always a great idea to keep up with changing seasons and with the autumn chill upon us, chunky knit jumpers and warm beverages are a great way to keep warm. But what about when it comes to your home?

One of the best ways to add a dash of autumn to your intimate space is by placing seasonal scents to create a cosy, welcoming and warm environment. While scented candles are a great addition, there are also various types of diffusers, fragrant oils, and pot pourri that you can explore to create the cosy atmosphere you love. Here are few tips on which scents are the most popular this season.

Pumpkin Spice
The obvious go-to for many in autumn months is pumpkin spice. Most commonly in the form of a scented candle and aromatic oil, this scent helps add a degree of freshness all the while projects feelings of warmth. Pumpkin spice is also a scent that is said to trigger positive emotions so why not add a little positivity to your personal space?

Bonfire
The hint of burnt wood on a cool crisp day is enough to make us say “Ahhhh!” The bonfire scent is known to be an aphrodisiac and could be a great gender neutral scent to add to couples shared space. Most often distributed as pot pourri or as scented candles, why not give this instant classic a try?

Cinnamon and Nutmeg
Looking to spice up your bathroom a little more? Fiery cinnamon and nutmeg can help add a degree of warmth. Both are especially popular for bathrooms that have cool colour tones. Cinnamon and Nutmeg also are powerful smells and therefore often last for a long period of time. Given that it’s one of the most popular autumn scents, it’s often distributed in all types of aromatic (oils, candles, pot pourri, etc) and can even help compliment other scents like the pumpkin, apple cider among many others.
